Matthew chapter 9 verses 35 through 38 tells us that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few so here is what we’re doing over in our part of the vineyard.
Building Updates
Building #1
Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel The main building that houses the sanctuary is undergoing intermittent construction. Upcoming projects include repairing the roof, installing new molding and enhancing the aesthetics of the passageway from the rear of the building to the basement.

After acquiring the former Cambria Heights Library building we went straight to work. The building was renovated and now houses Cambria Heights Christian Academy upstairs; downstairs is currently being renovated to be transformed into a multipurpose hall. Sheet rocking is almost complete. The next phase is the installation of fixtures: electrical/ lighting and bathroom (toilets, partitions, sink, etc.), air conditioning and heating. After fixtures, we will tackle tiling. It is the biggest part and will be done last. Finally, an elevator is needed in the final stage because it is required for occupancy.

Haitian Culture Celebration • July 18 - July 20A unique time of socialization with the Haitian community in our surrounding area of Cambria Heights. We will fellowship and learn about Haitian culture such as food, language, art, music, lifestyle, fashion, and religious beliefs. women’s ministry
Walk-a-Thon • August 16Route: Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel to Roy Wilkins Park on Merrick Blvd. The purpose is to raise funds for the remodeling of our Church kitchen. women’s ministry
Youth Ministry Retreat • August 21 – 24Held at Grace Manor, allowing time away for our youth to be strengthened adults through in-depth studies and preaching on subjects relevant to youth. youth ministry
Men’s Prayer Breakfast • To Be AnnouncedIs dedicated to strengthening our prayer life with God. It allows us to not only receive support for things we go through, but also for us to see the many ways in which God answers prayer.
