Yonkers Gospel Mission is a group of Bible-believing, Christ-loving people who provide help to the needy, especially substance abusers. We teach and demonstrate Christ’s love to each man who comes through the doors of the mission home. The mission provides food, shelter and clothing for homeless men in a safe and clean living environment where the word of God can be preached and the love of Christ can be shown.
It is an exciting ministry opportunity for Cambria Heights Gospel Chapel because on the fourth Thursday of each month we minister to the residents by sharing the gospel and donating food. This is a vital ministry as we experience the power of the Gospel in the lives of the residents. Many residents accept Jesus as Lord of their lives while others constantly ask for prayer and that God may put their broken lives back together.
