Thankful For New Beginnings

On August 4, 2014 I decided to fully dedicate my life to God. Brother Collash spoke two very powerful messages and the Holy Spirit pulled on the strings of my heart until I surrendered. I am so very happy and excited about my journey. I feel like I put on a brand new pair of glasses. Everything seems so much brighter. I’ve changed the music on my phone, the radio station in my car and my daily routine. My goal is to get as much God as possible to help renew my mind and keep my focus on Him.

I appreciate being given everything by someone who owes me absolutely nothing. God is definitely not dead. I hear Him when a thought runs through my mind that shouldn’t, I feel Him every time a particular scripture sends chills down my spine and I see the way He is already working in my life. The love of the Lord has moved me to repair broken relationships, end unhealthy relationships and build new relationships.

I’m thankful for my new beginning. I’m thankful for the cross and the opportunity we have to be made brand new. I’m grateful that He makes me better and stronger daily. Most of all, I am grateful for the flame that He has lit in my heart and soul and I pray it never goes out. I want to thank anyone who has ever whispered a prayer for me. Not just recently but when I was deep in my sin and they loved me anyway and understood that their prayers weren’t falling on deaf ears. I thank you for the encouraging texts, hugs and kisses and ask that you continue to pray for me.
